I was so nervous to come here, but it was the best thing I could have done. The doctor and staff was so good. It didn't hurt at all, just a lil discomfort. I'll be back for sure.

Tracy checked me in. Tony triaged me and Dr Scott took care of me. They made me feel welcome and comfortable from start to finish. I don't think I've ever had a doctor's visit this WONDERFUL! I barely felt a thing and as a person who is terribly afraid of needles, they took all my fears away and provided an excellent experience. Tony plays your favorite music during the procedure and it lasts about one song. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!!

Questions About Occipital Nerve Block Aftercare

Which details should I confirm before agreeing to treatment for Occipital Nerve Blocks?

Treatment details should include the target area, the reason for the injection, aftercare guidance, and the follow-up plan. Ask how your symptoms support the proposed treatment and what other options fit your care goals. Our team explains the plan in plain language before you decide.

How should I track headaches after treatment?

Headache tracking should record when symptoms start, where they occur, and how they change after treatment. Add notes about daily activity and any scalp numbness or injection soreness. Those details give our physician a clearer view of your response and support the next care decision.

When should scalp numbness prompt a call?

Scalp numbness should prompt a call when it concerns you, changes in a way you didn't expect, or comes with other symptoms. Note its location and when it began before speaking with our team. We can review your treatment guidance and decide what follow-up is appropriate.

Why might an occipital nerve block not fit my pain?

An occipital nerve block may not fit pain that does not follow an occipital nerve pattern. Your physician reviews your symptoms, history, and treatment goals before recommending it. Another pain evaluation, medication plan, or rehabilitation guidance may be more suitable for the problem being assessed.

What changes the price of this treatment?

The proposed care plan changes the price, including the assessment and treatment needs discussed for your symptoms. Premier Injury Specialists explains upfront pricing before care. Free Consultations give you a chance to discuss the plan and ask what each part includes.
