About

What care for neuropathy includes

Neuropathy treatment starts with a focused review of pain, sensation, movement, and the condition linked to your symptoms. We also consider whether the problem followed an auto accident, workplace injury, sports injury, or another source of chronic pain. Treatment decisions can include medication management, physical rehabilitation guidance, and minimally invasive options when clinically appropriate. Results vary, and some symptoms need ongoing review as the plan develops. Cost depends on the evaluation, the care selected, and whether related injury or spinal concerns need attention. We provide upfront pricing and explain what each recommended service covers before care moves forward.

Process

How we plan care for neuropathy symptoms

1

Review the symptom pattern

We discuss pain, tingling, numbness, weakness, injury history, medicines, and limits on daily movement.

2

Assess causes and care fit

We evaluate the condition and decide which treatment options fit your symptoms, health needs, and goals.

3

Build the treatment plan

We may include medication management, physical rehabilitation guidance, or minimally invasive treatment when clinically appropriate.

4

Explain follow-up needs

We review the plan, expected next steps, and signs that should prompt another clinical discussion.

What to prepare before a neuropathy visit

A few details can help us understand your symptoms and plan the visit well.

  • Write down where the pain, tingling, or numbness occurs.
  • Bring a list of current medicines and supplements.
  • Note when symptoms began and what makes them better or worse.
  • Bring relevant medical records or imaging reports you already have.
  • Record how symptoms affect walking, sleep, work, or other daily tasks.

The Premier Injury Specialists Standard

Individualized Planning

We create a neuropathy plan around each patient's symptoms, health needs, injury history, and daily movement limits.

Evidence-Based Care

We consider evidence-based, minimally invasive, and nonsurgical options when the clinical assessment supports their use.

Imaging Referrals

We use imaging referrals when spinal or joint findings need more support during the evaluation of related pain.

Questions about nerve pain treatment

Who provides neuropathy treatment in Stockbridge?

Premier Injury Specialists provides neuropathy treatment through physician-led pain management care. Our Pain Management Physician reviews nerve symptoms, injury history, medicines, and movement limits. The plan may include medication management, physical rehabilitation guidance, or minimally invasive treatment when clinically appropriate. Patients from Stockbridge and nearby communities can request a consultation during our weekday office hours.

Which part of neuropathy treatment changes the price?

The evaluation, selected treatment, and related conditions drive the cost of neuropathy care. A visit may involve symptom assessment, medication management, rehabilitation guidance, or another clinically suitable service. Extra attention to spinal, joint, or injury concerns can change the plan. We provide upfront pricing and explain the recommended care before treatment.

Can neuropathy pain be managed without surgery?

Yes, neuropathy pain can often be managed through nonsurgical care when clinically appropriate. Medication management, rehabilitation guidance, and selected minimally invasive treatments may form part of the plan. The right choice depends on your symptoms, health needs, and the cause under review. We explain the reason for each recommendation before moving forward.

What should I bring to my first neuropathy appointment?

Your medication list, symptom history, and relevant medical records help us assess nerve pain more clearly. Bring:

  • Current medicines and supplements
  • Imaging reports or records you already have
  • Details about when symptoms began
  • Notes about sleep, walking, work, and other affected activities

Those details help connect your symptoms with a useful treatment plan.

Which exercises help older adults with neuropathy?

Exercise choices should match the person's balance, strength, symptoms, and medical needs. Physical rehabilitation guidance may focus on safe movement and daily function, but one routine doesn't fit every patient. We review current limits before suggesting activity goals. Older adults should discuss new exercises with a licensed medical provider, especially when numbness affects balance.

What medicines are commonly considered for nerve pain?

Medication management considers current medicines, health history, symptom pattern, and possible side effects. The specific medicine depends on the patient's condition, so we don't recommend a universal drug list. We review what you already take and explain suitable options within the treatment plan. Bring every medicine and supplement to the appointment.

When should worsening numbness receive medical attention?

Worsening numbness, new weakness, spreading symptoms, or balance changes deserve prompt medical attention. These signs can affect walking and safety, so a clinical assessment should not wait for routine self-care to solve the problem. We review the change, its timing, and related symptoms. Sudden or severe symptoms require urgent medical evaluation.

When Customers Call Us About Neuropathy Treatment

1

Burning Feet Affect Daily Movement

Burning feet can make walking, standing, or sleeping harder, even when the cause isn't clear. The pattern, spread, and link to an injury matter during the assessment. Write down when symptoms appear and bring your medicine list to the visit. We can then discuss whether medication management, rehabilitation guidance, or another option fits your needs.

2

Numbness After an Injury

Numbness after an auto accident, workplace injury, or sports injury can raise questions about nerve involvement. We review the injury history alongside pain, weakness, and movement limits. Bring records or imaging you already have, and note any change in sensation. That information helps us plan the next clinical step.

3

Concern About Treatment Cost

The cost of neuropathy care depends on the evaluation and the treatment plan, not just the symptom name. Extra care for related spinal, joint, or injury concerns can change what the visit includes. We provide upfront pricing and explain the recommended service before treatment. Ask which part of the plan addresses your main symptom.

Our Other Services

Knee Pain TreatmentKnee pain can interfere with stairs, walking, exercise, and work demands. A focused evaluation considers cartilage wear, arthritis, prior injury, and movement limits, then guides medication, therapy, or joint injection options.
Auto Accident Injury EvaluationAfter a crash, neck pain, back pain, or numbness can make daily tasks difficult. A clinical exam reviews collision injuries, range of motion, and nerve symptoms, then guides imaging referrals and treatment planning for a clearer recovery path.
Epidural Steroid InjectionsLeg or arm pain from an irritated spinal nerve can limit walking, lifting, or sleep. An epidural steroid injection places medication near the affected nerve root to calm inflammation and support movement during rehabilitation.
Facet Joint InjectionsArthritis in the small facet joints can cause painful, restricted neck or back movement. Facet joint injections deliver anesthetic and corticosteroid near the irritated joint, helping identify the pain source and improve everyday function.
Medial Branch BlocksBack or neck pain from facet joints may continue despite ordinary treatment. Medial branch blocks temporarily numb the nerves serving those joints, helping confirm the source and guide later radiofrequency ablation when appropriate.
Occipital Nerve BlocksPain at the back of the head can spread toward the scalp, eyes, or temples. An occipital nerve block targets irritated occipital nerves with local anesthetic and steroid, reducing headache symptoms and improving comfort.
