I had a great experience at premier injury specialist after my car accident. From the moment I walked in, Tracy, the patient coordinator, made sure I understood the process and felt comfortable. Tony, the medical assistant, did an amazing job explaining the procedure in detail, which eased my nerves. Dr. Vyas thoroughly reviewed my MRI and took the time to explain my condition and treatment options. He was very honest and upfront about the procedure, making sure I truly needed the injection before administering it. His transparency and genuine care for my well-being reassured me that this office isn’t just in it for the money — they are truly invested in their patients’ health. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of pain management. They provide exceptional care with professionalism and integrity.

Questions about sympathetic nerve block safety

What risks should I consider before a sympathetic nerve block?

Bleeding risk is the first concern when medicines or health conditions could affect treatment safety. Infection risk, temporary weakness, and medication reaction also need review. Premier Injury Specialists checks your medical history and current medicines before discussing an injection. Individual results vary, so the consultation focuses on your symptoms and health needs.

How does a medication review change the treatment plan?

Medication review can change whether an injection is suitable and how the plan is arranged. Current medicines may affect bleeding concerns or create a possible medication reaction. Bring an accurate list of prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, and supplements. Our physician uses that information with your history and symptoms.

Which symptoms suggest that another pain treatment may fit better?

Symptoms that do not match the expected nerve pattern may point toward another pain treatment. The assessment considers pain location, movement limits, injury history, and prior care. We explain the reason for the recommendation in plain language. A different plan may include medication management, rehabilitation guidance, or another interventional option.

When should I raise concerns about temporary weakness?

Temporary weakness should be discussed before treatment if it could affect walking, work, driving, or daily tasks. The consultation reviews your usual activities and health history. Ask how the possible reaction relates to your own routine. We use that discussion when deciding whether the service is a suitable option.

Why does infection risk matter before an injection?

Infection risk matters because an injection enters the body and requires careful health screening. Tell us about current illness, skin problems, or past reactions during the consultation. We review the information before treatment planning. Good questions help you understand the safety steps and whether another option fits better.

What records should I bring to the consultation for Sympathetic Nerve Block?

Medical records, imaging reports, injury details, and a current medicine list help the physician assess your condition. Bring information about earlier treatments and changes in pain or movement. Premier Injury Specialists uses those details to discuss suitability. You don't need to decide on an injection before the evaluation.
